We created The Salon Social Circle because we were tired of the same old training and the lack of real support in the industry.
We wanted a safe, honest space that cuts the fluff, challenges the norm, and gives nail techs the no-BS training they actually deserve, with ongoing support at every step of your journey.
Who are we?
Jessica Hinds
Hey, I’m Jess — nail tech, educator, chaos enthusiast and your unofficial nail agony aunt. I’ve been in this game for over a decade and I still get way too excited about a crisp apex and a fresh set. I’m a bit rough round the edges, full of passion, and if there’s a way to do it differently (but better), I’m all in.
I’ve teamed up with my Scottish counterpart Tracy — equally no-nonsense, wildly talented, and basically the yin to my slightly unhinged yang. Together, we’ve created online education that feels like learning with your best mate — but one that actually knows their stuff.

Hi, I’m Tracy — salon owner, nail educator, Scottish as hell, and your brutally honest cheerleader in this wild world of nails. I’ve been doing this for years and I still get a buzz every time I help someone master a new technique (or finally get that apex right — hallelujah).
I’m all about straight-talking, real deal education that makes sense, gets results, and doesn’t bore you to tears. Jess and I are cut from the same chaotic cloth — passionate, a bit unpredictable, and always rooting for the underdog. If you’re ready to learn with someone who’ll tell it like it is but back you every step of the way — you’re in the right place.
